Being a conscious consumer means being aware and knowing out of what materials the things we use are made.

Think you know what things are made of? Try to match these things we use every day with the natural resources needed to make them.

Hint: You might want to read this first...

The origins of many products can be traced to the following two natural resources. See if you can figure out which natural resources the following products come from. Choose one of the following answers for each item:

  • P for Petro-chemicals
  • F for Forests, including other agriculturally grown sources.
  • FP for either or both. Hint: Some things used to be made with forest resources until plastic was invented from petrochemicals.
