Hazardous Waste Jeopardy
Your home and garage may seem safe, but take a look around. If you see any of these types of products, your house may contain potentially hazardous materials such as

- Paints and solvents
- Pesticides
- Household cleaners
- Automotive products
- Batteries
- Arts and hobby supplies.
Through this fun activity, children and adults can evaluate their knowledge of household hazardous waste facts and help Players think about the consequences of their personal lifestyle choices.
Using a dry erase board, flip chart, overhead or chalkboard set up a game board following the format of the TV show, Jeopardy!
The player that starts chooses a category and point value. The opposite player or team depending on how many participants you have will read a question from that category and point value from the questions provided below. When a player answers correctly that section is closed on the board and the player receives those points. The player with the most points after all the sections are closed wins!
Remember, to choose the "best fit" answer! Get ready to test your household hazardous waste knowledge!
