Winter 2007 Challenge - Reduce!
Reduce With a Waste-Free Lunch Day!
To take the Reduce Challenge, hold a Waste-Free Lunch Day by having your class pack a lunch from home using all reusable or recyclable containers. Measure the results compared to a typical lunch day. Submit your results and RSP will give the top 10 classes up to 30 re-useable lunch bags made from Eco-Spuntm, a fiber made from recycled soda bottles and water bottles.
This challenge is one of the many that Saint Louis County Department of Health (DOH) is offering to help raise awareness of their 50% waste diversion goal by the year 2010.
